The growth and development of an Islamic community rely on a strong academic and educational system. However, due to four decades of conflict in our beloved country, this sector has not received much attention.

In this context, the Abdullah bin Masoud (may Allah be pleased with him) University was established before the conquest in the year 1440 Hijri (2019 AD) by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as a religious, specialized, and educational institution. Since the year 1443 Hijri (2022 AD), it has been operating as an independent official administrative unit under the Ministry of Higher Education, providing services to citizens in the country's academic and educational fields, considering the religious and scientific needs of the present era.

This university offers advanced education in religious sciences up to the doctoral level, and so far, numerous scholars have graduated in the fields of Ifta (Islamic jurisprudence) and Qada (judicial matters) and have been presented to serve the community.

The Abdullah bin Masoud University is proud to offer standard educational services in religious specialties from its very first day. It strives to utilize standard teaching methods and modern techniques to provide a specialist workforce in religious sciences that can meet all the religious and contemporary needs of the community in the relevant fields.
